Parliament member Prajwal Revanna (33), caught in Karnataka's largest sex scandal, can no longer elude the tightening grip of the law. The Special Investigation Team is swiftly gathering robust evidence against Prajwal, and has even plastered a notice outside his residence. Meanwhile, Prajwal's uncle and JDS leader Kumaraswamy claims the driver who leaked the videos is now in Malaysia, questioning his presence and activities there.

It's known that Prajwal is the son of former PM H.D. Deve Gowda's eldest son, H.D. Revanna. Prajwal fled to Frankfurt, Germany from Bengaluru six days prior, on April 27, with an FIR registered against him the following day, April 28th, at Holenarasipur police station in Hassan district. Videos allegedly showing Prajwal's sexual misconduct have been widely circulated on social media since April 24th. The JDS legislator H.D. Revanna and his son Prajwal were accused by their household assistant. The victim also alleged Prajwal made video calls to her daughter, performing indecent acts, which led to him being blocked. More than 2,500 videos are rumored to involve Prajwal in sexual harassment claims.

What is Driver Karthik Doing in Malaysia?

JDS leader Kumaraswamy has taken a jab at the Congress, insinuating allegations of corruption with a 420 reference, claiming that the driver Karthik is currently in Malaysia. Karthik reportedly gave a pendrive containing the videos to Devaraj Gowda. Kumaraswamy has been accused by Congress of releasing these videos, to which he asked, 'Where is Karthik now? He is in Malaysia.' Kumaraswamy furthers his inquiry about who sent him to Malaysia and relayed the videos from there. 'They are trying to provoke me, but I know how to respond,' states Kumaraswamy, who has been watching this unfold for a while. 'First, pinpoint his exact whereabouts at this time,' he insists.

Siddaramaiah Writes to PM Modi

Following the State Women's Commission's complaint, Karnataka's CM Siddaramaiah has established an SIT under the leadership of CID ADG B.K. Singh. On Wednesday, CM Siddaramaiah wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting the cancellation of Prajwal's diplomatic passport. 'He used his diplomatic passport for international travel,' Siddaramaiah conveyed to PM Modi, urging immediate action to rescind it. In his letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Siddaramaiah has stressed the importance of ensuring the swift return of the absconding parliament member through the use of the government's diplomatic and police channels, as well as international police agencies.

Prajwal's legal request for seven days to present himself to the SIT has provoked controversy. The SIT, tasked with investigating Prajwal and his father, HD Revanna, issued notices and summoned them to appear. Reacting for the first time on Wednesday, Prajwal claimed, 'Truth will prevail,' adding that he is not in Bengaluru and has notified CID Bengaluru through his lawyer, promising to participate in the inquiry and reveal the truth soon. His lawyer requested seven days for Prajwal to present himself before the SIT officer. Meanwhile, HD Revanna denied knowledge of the notice, although confirming that the SIT had posted it at their residence, and declared their intention to cooperate with the investigation fully.

Prajwal Revanna faces growing troubles in Karnataka amidst a case of alleged sexual misconduct. Before an FIR could be filed, Prajwal fled the country. Efforts to repatriate Prajwal have started, with his residence plastered with notices. Over 2,500 videos are circulating, allegedly featuring Prajwal involved in women's harassment.

Prajwal to Catch Flight Back on May 15th

Sources suggest Prajwal Revanna plans to return to India from Germany on May 15th. 'India Today' has obtained details of his ticket revealing his flight with Lufthansa from Munich, Germany to Bengaluru, landing at 12:30 PM the next day.

JDS has suspended Prajwal from the party pending investigation, warning of expulsion if found guilty. With Prajwal's controversial videos surfacing, the party and its leadership are facing humiliation.

Congress is under fire for delaying the FIR, sparking further questions amid the scandal. Central Minister Prahlad Joshi has criticized the delay, accusing the opposition of fooling the public and wrongly blaming the center. The question remains: why was the FIR not filed sooner, and why wasn't Prajwal detained immediately?
