China is continuously expanding its People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) fleet, aiming to make it more powerful and formidable. Every year, China is producing around 240 combat aircraft, which includes a variety of fighter jets, with over 100 being J-16 Hidden Dragon fighter jets.

Additionally, 100 J-20 Mighty Dragons and 40 J-10C Vigorous Dragons are being built. The production numbers for the Chinese versions of the Russian Falcon fighter jets, J-11 and J-15, remain unknown. To counter these, the Indian Air Force currently has fighters like MiG, Mirage, Rafale, Jaguar, Tejas, and Sukhoi. However, China is developing three aircraft that could potentially challenge the Indian Air Force... Let's explore these aircraft.

China's Dangerous Stealth Bomber, Capable of Attacking Any Indian City

China's latest stealth bomber, H-20, is capable of attacking any city in India. The Indian military lacks stealth technology and anti-stealth weapons to shoot down such fighter jets.

To enhance India's air defense, it is crucial to have radars that can track this aircraft and a surface-to-air missile system that can bring down the Chinese bomber. The H-20 Stealth Fighter Jet has technology that deflects radar beams, making it difficult to detect.

If China flies this fighter jet within its airspace, it can easily penetrate Indian territory and target borders, airbases, naval bases, communication centers, or military installations. Therefore, India must develop long-range air-to-air and surface-to-air missile systems.

Such missiles need to intercept stealth bombers. It was only two years ago that China's stealth bomber was unveiled. The H-20 is a long-range bomber capable of striking up to 13,000 km. Its combat range is 5,000 km, meaning it can attack any part of India.

J-31 or FC-31 Gyrfalcon Stealth Fighter Jet, Unparalleled by Any Indian Aircraft

China's fifth-generation stealth fighter jet, known by several names such as J-31, FC-31, Shenyang FC-31 Stealth Fighter Jet, Falcon Hawk, or Snowy Owl, is produced by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. The J-31 is operated by a single pilot. This fighter jet, measuring 56.9 feet in length and 15.9 feet in height, can take off with a maximum weight of 28,000 kg.

It can fly at a maximum speed of 1,400 km/hr, with a combat range of 1,200 km. With mid-air refueling, it can travel up to 1,900 km. It can soar to a maximum altitude of 52,000 feet.

The J-31 fighter jet features six external and six internal hardpoints. It can be equipped with 12 medium-range air-to-air missiles, eight supersonic air-to-ground missiles, eight 500 kg deep-penetration bombs, or 30 smaller bombs. Currently, India does not possess any fighter jet of this generation. India is developing the AMCA fighter jet.

This fighter jet is named Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). Once completed, it will give India a significant advantage over Pakistan. The aircraft will have a speed of 2,600 km/hr, a combat range of 1,620 km, and an overall range of 3,240 km. It will be capable of flying at a maximum altitude of 65,000 feet.

China is developing a sixth-generation fighter jet named J-XD, where XD stands for Xin Dai. There is limited public information about this jet, and it is under continuous development. China's sixth-generation fighter jet program is consistently being upgraded with advanced sensors, a loyal wingman drone, laser weapons, and teamed manned and unmanned jets and drones. By the time India develops and incorporates its fifth-generation AMCA, China might already be flying its sixth-generation aircraft.
