The Chief Minister's Office in Bihar’s capital, Patna, has received a bomb threat. According to information, an email from a group claiming to be Al-Qaeda was sent to the CMO. Following the receipt of this threat-filled email, the ATS has begun its investigation and an FIR has been registered.
Details reveal that the threatening email was received on July 16. The email threatened to bomb the CMO. An FIR has been registered under the Secretary Police Station on August 2, based on the statement of the Station Officer Sanjeev Kumar.
According to the police, the email arrived on the government email ID of the CMO on July 16, threatening that the CMO would be bombed. It also warned that even Bihar's Special Police couldn't prevent it, urging not to take it lightly. The email claimed to be from the Al-Qaeda group.

The miscreants sent the email from the ID achw700@gmail.com. Now, the police are tracking down the details related to this email ID. A case has been registered against unknown individuals under BNS Section 351 (4), (3), and 66 (F) IT Act. The Secretariat Police are investigating the matter fully.
Both the Bihar ATS and police teams are now working to find out who actually sent this threatening email. They are probing whether the email was genuinely sent by the Al-Qaeda group or if it was some malicious prank.
