The investigation into the Badaun double murder case is advancing rapidly. The police are set to recreate the terrifying crime scene to fully understand the incident. Moreover, SSP Alok Priyadarshi indicates that Javed might undergo a narco test if necessary, as the motive behind the double homicide remains elusive.

Javed Surrendered in Bareilly

Last Tuesday evening, Sajid ruthlessly took the lives of his neighbors' two children. Post the encounter that resulted in his death, his brother Javed was on the run until he surrendered at the Bareilly satellite station early Thursday. Since then, Javed has been under police interrogation. SSP Alok Priyadarshi shared details of the event post-interrogation Thursday evening.

'Sajid Had Always Been Sick Since Childhood'

SSP Alok revealed that during the investigation of the double homicide, Javed was interrogated. He mentioned that Sajid had always been ill since childhood. Due to Sajid's health, they took residence at the dargah of Chote Sarkar and Bade Sarkar in Badaun. The brothers worked together at a salon. On the day of the crime, they arrived at their shop between 8:00 and 8:30 AM as usual. That day, Sajid was unusually silent. That evening, when Sajid felt ill, he remarked that he felt like vomiting blood.

Sajid Went to Vinod Singh's House Alone

Javed testified that following the conversation with Sajid, he left. Later, Sajid returned with a knife. Shortly after, screams erupted from Vinod Singh's home. When Javed saw Sajid blood-stained, he ran away to avoid the gathering crowd. Javed told the police that Sajid went into the house alone, while he waited outside. According to Javed, Sajid became violent with a knife in hand. He further told the police that Sajid was mentally troubled and would often become aggressive. Sajid frequently visited the family of Vinod, with whom they were well-acquainted.

An evening of horror leads to the murder of two young souls by Sajid, followed by a police encounter and the dramatic escape and surrender of his brother, Javed.

The Victim's Mother Appeals for Call Record Analysis

Meanwhile, the mother of the murdered children, Sangeeta, insists that Javed brought Sajid to their home on a bike during the incident. According to her, Sajid made a phone call from their home following the crime. She urges the police to retrieve call records to identify the person Sajid called.

Why Did Sajid Murder the Children?

Sangeeta believes that Javed is lying. She questions why Javed came to their house and when the murder was planned. The children never left the house and would play indoors. The grandmother of the victimized children, Munni Devi, also seeks answers as to why their grandchildren were murdered. The police, too, are searching for these answers.
