With elections heating up across the country, politicians are pulling out all stops to woo voters and secure victory. Among the speakers at a Monday rally in Rajgarh, BJP lawmaker Rameshwar Sharma made a controversial remark against opposition parties including Congress. He urged attendees to inaugurate Narendra Modi's third term as prime minister, asserting that 'even mullahs seated in Lahore will chant Vande Mataram – I guarantee it'. His statement came amidst a climate of intense political rivalry as parties rally support in the run-up to the elections.

Sharma arrived in Byawara to campaign on behalf of a BJP candidate, where he addressed the gathered crowd. In his speech, he targeted the entire opposition, accusing them of dishonest tactics and urging the public to teach them a lesson. He also pledged that even religious leaders in Pakistan will pay homage to India if Modi secures a third term in office.

In his address, Sharma claimed that no one would vote in Rajgarh, explaining, 'I'm not saying this just because we have a lawmaker from here. He boldly proclaimed from the stage in Sehore that he wouldn't chant Vande Mataram. But today, standing on Byawara soil, I loudly declare that if we usher in Modi's third term, even Islamic leaders in Lahore will sing Vande Mataram.'
