UP News:
Preparations are fervently underway in Ayodhya to celebrate the first anniversary of the idol installation at the Ram Temple. The doors will remain open from January 11 to 13, welcoming all who missed last year's historic event. According to the temple trust, around 110 VIPs will also partake. A German hangar tent at Angad Tila can accommodate about 5,000 people sitting together.
The public will witness the grand three-day program featuring classical cultural performances at the mandap and yajna shala, along with rituals and daily Ramkatha sermons.
The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Rai, stated that they have invited those unable to attend last year's installation ceremony. These invitees will have the opportunity to participate in all events at Angad Tila over the three days. Invitations have been extended to 110 VIP guests and others who missed the previous celebrations on January 22, 2024.
Ayodhya comes alive with mantras and congratulatory songs during the first anniversary celebrations of Ram Lalla's installation.
From 2 PM onwards, the temple hosts a session of Ramkatha, followed by discourses on the Ramcharitmanas (Manas Pravachan) and cultural programs. Each morning, prasadam is distributed. As per the temple trust, all preparations for staging and decorating the yajna site have been completed, making the mandap and yajna shala the epicenters of the festivities.
Earlier, a government press note from January 5 revealed that on January 11, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will conduct the anointment of Ram Lalla at the temple. Champat Rai from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust mentioned the completion of one year since the establishment of the newly built temple on January 11. Invitations have been dispatched to saints and devotees across the nation. Residents of Ayodhya and pilgrims have been urged by Rai to actively participate in the festivities.
The event is designed to let attendees experience the deeply spiritual environment over the three days. January 11 marks an exceptional day, rooted in tradition, as the Panchang (Hindu calendar) aligns with the holy Poornima that previously coincided with the idol's installation on January 22, 2024, in Ayodhya, witnessed by millions, including the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Once again, Ayodhya gears up to host a spectacular celebration in this city of faith. A year since the dynamic installation of Ram Lalla's idol on January 22, 2024, resting in the sanctum of the newly constructed temple, this year’s anniversary will be joyously marked on January 11. The change reflects the calendar's specific dates, as Poornima falls on January 11 this year, celebrating the unprecedented event experienced last year.
