A heart-wrenching incident emerged from Saloli village in Alwar district, Rajasthan, where a family feud over property division drove a woman to leap into a dry well with her two innocent sons in a fit of rage. Unfortunately, 4-year-old Ajay succumbed to his injuries, while Anita and her elder son Anish were severely injured.
Reportedly, Anita's brother-in-law's wedding was on the cards, prompting Anita to demand a share in the family property from her mother-in-law. Disgruntled by the denial, the dispute escalated. After several days of conflict, Anita left home on Saturday with her three sons. On the way, her eldest son Bhanu, aged 7, managed to escape her hold and fled. With Ajay, 4, and Anish, 6, in tow, Anita reached a dry village well. There, in a tragic sequence, she threw the children down and then jumped herself.

Both were rushed to Rajgarh Hospital and later transferred to Alwar due to their critical condition. Sadly, doctors declared Ajay dead, and his body has been placed in Raeni CHC's morgue.
Police Action Initiated
Manoj Kumar, ASI from Raeni police station, revealed that Anita's husband works as a sculptor in Jaipur and was absent from home for ten days. No formal complaint has been filed by the family yet, but police have registered a case and launched a detailed inquiry, recording statements from villagers and relatives.
