Driven to the edge by his son's behavior, a father strangled him, burying the body in their field. Astonishingly, this secret was kept for nearly a month until the truth emerged through a foul odor and a discovered skeleton.

Daily Domestic Disputes

This gruesome event unfolded in the village of Dhari, Amreli. The entire region was left in turmoil. According to the police, the victim, 25-year-old Hitesh, lived with his parents in the village. He had a severe alcohol addiction and often returned home drunk, causing disturbances. His misbehavior and unreasonable demands had become a routine, plunging the family into turmoil and mental stress.

When Tensions Escalated

On the night of November 24, 2025, Hitesh came home drunk, as usual. He immediately started a dispute with his mother, making unacceptable demands. Despite her attempts to calm him, he became increasingly aggressive. His unruly actions, fueled by alcohol, ratcheted up the tensions at home to unprecedented levels.

Father's Attempt at Resolution

During this, Hitesh's father, Vasram Bhai, returned home and tried to reason with his son. He advised him to remain calm and refrain from inappropriate behavior. Yet, Hitesh, consumed by alcohol, had forgotten the sanctity of their relationships. His continuous insults and rude behavior pushed his father to the brink of his patience.

A Murder at Home, a Body Buried in a Field

Overcome by anger, Vasram Bhai strangled his son Hitesh in their home. After committing the act, he planned to dispose of the body. Under the cover of night, he dragged the body to the edge of their field, dug a grave, and buried his son to stave off suspicion.

A Month of Secrets

Despite this horrific act, the family continued to live as though nothing had happened. No one in the village realized Hitesh had been murdered. Time passed as the secret was withheld until, about a month later, conditions changed.

The Smell and Skeleton Reveal the Truth

On the night of December 31, the police received a call from a concerned field owner. The caller reported a strange smell emanating from a neighbor Vasram Senjalia's field and something resembling a corpse. Upon receiving the alert, the police acted promptly. By January 1, in the presence of village council members, they excavated the site, uncovering a decomposed body and skeleton. The remains were then sent for forensic examination in Bhavnagar.

Confession During Investigation

Following the discovery, police initiated inquiries with the family. Almost immediately, Vasram Bhai confessed to his crime. He admitted he had been driven to murder his son due to his constant disorderly conduct and daily arguments. Currently, Dhari police have taken the accused father into custody, and the legal procedures continue.
