In Rajasthan, enforcement agencies have seized cash exceeding 92 crore rupees and illegal liquor, along with other materials meant for distribution, since the implementation of the model code of conduct for the by-elections.

Chief Electoral Officer Navin Mahajan noted ongoing efforts since October 15 to keep the election process free from the influence of wealth and power.

According to PTI, Navin Mahajan reported that from October 15 to November 8, officials seized cash and gratuitous materials, including illegal liquor, amounting to 92.68 crore rupees.

The by-election voting for the state's seven assembly seats—Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khinwsar, Chohtan, Salumber, and Ramgarh—is scheduled for November 13, with results to be announced on November 23.
