In the 2025 Monsoon Session of Parliament, major discussions on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor will commence from Monday. A fierce clash is expected between the ruling party and the opposition. The debate is scheduled to last 16 hours in both houses. Prior to this discussion, Aishanya, the wife of Shubham Dwivedi who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, shared her thoughts with Aaj Tak. She mentioned that today's discussion should solely focus on eradicating terrorism, as promised by the PM regarding the continuation of Operation Sindoor. What lies ahead for this operation?

Aishanya expressed her hope that politics will stay out of this matter. The discussion should center around how to eliminate terrorism both within and outside the country. Recognition and respect should be given to those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack, including Shubham and the 26 others who died.

Aishanya Hopeful of Government Action

Aishanya expects that the government will act on behalf of the terror attack victims and honor them as martyrs. When asked about a former finance minister's statement that the perpetrators were not Pakistanis, Aishanya remarked that politicians might remain silent until they experience similar personal loss.

Highlighting that Pakistan has been harboring terrorists, Aishanya thanked the Indian Army for their efforts in Operation Sindoor. She shared her meeting with soldiers who are visibly angry about the attack. Our armed forces are resilient, while terrorists are cowards.

Operation must be prolonged to eliminate terror

Today's discussion should focus on the actions against Pakistan and terrorism. The day is a tribute to those lost in Pahalgam. Aishanya emphasized that destroying terrorist camps by infiltrating Pakistan was a significant move and Operation Sindoor was a massive mission. She holds optimism with the government and stated that a protracted operation is essential to ending terror, acknowledging the strength of our troops.

Aishanya also commented on Trump's role in the ceasefire, affirming India's steadfastness, and supposing Trump had reasons for the ceasefire, while urging attention to the 26 victims. She expressed pride in the Indian Army.
