Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 4 Voting Live: Today (Monday), over 17 million voters are casting their votes for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, embracing 96 seats across 10 states and Union Territories (UTs).

In this phase, polls are in full swing for Andhra Pradesh's 25, Bihar's 5 out of 40, Jharkhand's 4 out of 14, Madhya Pradesh's 8 out of 29, and Maharashtra's 11 out of 48 seats. Additionally, voting continues for Odisha's 4 out of 21, Telangana's all 17 seats, Uttar Pradesh's 13 out of 80, West Bengal's 8 out of 42, and one in Jammu & Kashmir out of 5.

During this phase, 17.7 million voters are deciding upon their representative from 1,717 candidates at 192,000 polling stations, facilitated by 19 million election workers. The electorate comprises 8.97 million male voters and 8.73 million female voters. Among these 17.7 million voters, there are 1.249 million aged 85 or above. The elections are under the watchful eye of 364 observers, as well as 4,661 flying squads. In addition, 4,438 static surveillance teams have been deployed across the election areas located in the ten states and Union Territories. There are 1,016 interstate and 121 international checkpoints.
