Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Saturday that Israel has avenged the killing of Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah during Israeli airstrikes in Beirut, Lebanon.

According to The Times of Israel, in his first public statement after the assassination, Netanyahu said that Israel has settled the score with a 'mass murderer' accountable for the loss of countless Israelis and many American and French citizens.

Upon returning from his visit to the United Nations in New York, Netanyahu called Nasrallah's assassination a 'historic turning point.' He asserted that Nasrallah's death was crucial for Israel to achieve its targets. According to BBC News, the Israeli Prime Minister revealed that he personally directed the targeted strikes against Nasrallah, considering the recent attacks by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on Hezbollah were insufficient. Netanyahu added that Nasrallah was the central engine of Iran's evil axis. He asserted that Israel is resolute in continuing its assaults on its enemies.

Netanyahu declared in his address that if someone aims to kill you, kill him first. Israel has eliminated the fanatic killer Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah wasn’t just a terrorist. He was plotting with his people to annihilate Israel. Not only was he driven by Iran, but he also manipulated Iran frequently. Hence, at the beginning of the week, I concluded that the potent strikes by the IDF on Hezbollah in recent days were insufficient.

'The Job is Not Done Yet'

The Israeli PM stated that Nasrallah's elimination would ensure the safe return of our residents to their homes, facilitating the return of our captives from the south. He added that he wanted to thank the IDF, Air Force, IDF Intelligence, Mossad, and ISA for their outstanding achievements. We have great achievements, but the job is yet to be completed. In the coming days, we will jointly face significant challenges.

'Nasrallah Called Us a Spider’s Web'

Netanyahu mentioned that Nasrallah once compared us to a 'spider’s web,' but instead of a fragile web, he encountered the robust nerves of a united and powerful nation, determined to safeguard its existence and future. The entire Middle East now comprehends this.

'No Place in the Middle East is Beyond Israel’s Reach'

Israeli PM Benjamin stated that everyone opposing the evil axis, those fighting Iran and its proxies' brutal dictatorship in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and elsewhere, are filled with hope today. To these nations' citizens, I say Israel stands with you. To the Ayatollah’s regime, I say, try to hit us, and we will strike back. There is no place in Iran or the Middle East beyond Israel’s reach.

'Enemies Thought Israel Would Be Wiped Out'

Netanyahu emphasized that these are crucial days, which will be viewed as a historical turning point. A year ago, on October 7, our enemies attacked us, thinking Israel would be annihilated. A year later, we delivered blow after blow and achieved successive victories. We are winning. He affirmed that we are resolute in continuing our offensives against our foes, returning our residents to their homes, and bringing back all our captives. We remember them all the time. My brothers and sisters, dear citizens of Israel, today I proclaim emphatically that, once again, we will fight together and, with God's help, we will prevail together.
